Docks Beers

Docks Beers is Lincolnshire’s fastest growing craft beer brewery and taproom, based in an old converted Church near Grimsby’s famous Docks.

When brewing commenced at this new site in 2018, Docks Beers restored an historic industry to Grimsby fifty years after the last commercial brewery in the Town closed its doors.  We now supply our beer to trade customers all over Lincolnshire and as far as Hull, Doncaster and York.

Our beers are all inspired by the hard work ethic of dock workers all over the world. We are rated as one of the top 30 breweries in the UK by Untappd, the world’s largest crowdsourced beer app.

Our brewery tours are hugely popular and are sold out three months in advance.

Our taproom, which opened on October 3rd 2018, has become a popular community hub for people of all ages and demographics. We are now one of the busiest bars in North East Lincolnshire and last year we won the Grimsby Telegraph Best Pub/Bar award, nominated by the public.

We host events from tap takeovers to drawing clubs, bike rideouts, music gigs and small scale theatrical productions. We also provide an ever changing range of streetfood vendors from Hungarian Langos and Canadian poutine to Texas BBQ and Baos.

In March 2020 we open the Docks Academy – a new 300 capacity performance venue above the taproom. This is the first new venue of its kind in Grimsby for a decade. Gigs with Lloyd Griffith, Muddy Waters Jnr and The Sherlocks in March and April 2020 have already sold out and these high profile artists set the tone for the calibre of events the Academy intends to present in future.
